About the Team
VIZIO’s Marketing team is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, to join an experienced team of skilled marketing professionals responsible for leading the product strategy for the soundbar hardware division on the Product Marketing team. The successful candidate is a strategic, analytical, and results-oriented leader that will define the plans to accelerate brand and sales growth through defined vision and execution. You will optimize existing hardware strategies and identify, as well as test, new areas to meet our customers where they are. We are an on-site culture and require employees to be in office 5 days a week.
What You Will Do
• Develops the product positioning, messaging, and collateral for all VIZIO products in the Audio category to improve overall success in the market. The ideal candidate uses in depth market research, competitive analyses and consumer buying behavior data to inform the category go to market strategy.
• Leads product launches and ensures utilization of the right consumer touch points for consumer acquisition and engagement post launch.
• Ideates campaign activation strategies that cultivate new and existing consumers, promote the VIZIO value proposition, amplify the entertainment experience and engage consumers along all touch points of the consumer journey. Touchpoints include the unboxing experience, product setup, VIZIO Mobile app experience, paid and organic media, social, PR/Influencer, and brand events.
• Responsible for oversight of the execution for all the strategic marketing and merchandising plans in collaboration with Growth Marketing, Merchandising, Creative Services, and Corporate Communications teams.
• Own the cross-functional partnership with Product and Program Management, Sales, and Business Planning to develop go to market strategies for annual hardware launches and existing in market products.
• Understand upcoming promotions and opportunities to provide awareness to cross functional teams or big events and coordinate 360 campaigns to be able to support with partners – 60 day out calendar to be maintained at all times and communicated weekly with the teams.
• Work with other team members in marketing across the lifecycle journey to ensure proper measurement and optimization is applied.
• Works closely with VIZIO’s executive leadership to communicate strategy and execution status of new product launches and retail channel strategy.
About You
• You have 6+ years relevant professional experience required.
• You have a deep understanding of marketing and positioning products in a competitive market.
• You are a skilled, clear, and concise in your written and verbal communication.
• You possess the ability to think strategically and creatively.
• You have demonstrated ability to analyze data from various resources and translate it into trends, actionable plans, and reporting templates.
• You are an excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with members of VIZIO’s cross-functional teams.
• You are highly organized and detail-oriented and have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with un-prompted follow-through.
• You have earned a BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar program.

For New York-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $136,000.00/year. The maximum salary for this position $176,000.00/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
For California-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $130,000.00/year. The maximum salary for this position $168,000.00/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
