Sr. Product Designer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sr. Product Designer with our client in their San Francisco, CA location. This is a 6 month + contract 100% remote position.

• We are looking for a Sr. User Experience Designer to join the Consumer Growth Design team at our client, who can lead by connecting the dots between user insights, design patterns, and business goals.
• You will partner and collaborate closely with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process.
• Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements.
• Work with web developers and engineers to deliver final products.

Requirements:

• 6+ years' experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency).
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Desired:

• BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (including user research, product management and engineering).
• Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.
• Solid understanding of user-centered and web design principles as well as current web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
• Ability to present cohesive design approaches to a non-design audience (including business, product, and technology teams).
• Ability to create information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and screen flows.
• Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision.
• Ability to grasp multiple product requirements with careful attention to detail.

Pay rate range: $66.19 - $107.81 hourly.
