Product Designer (UX Wireframe) SaaS/Tech (Remote)
Remote, USA (Must work PST) US based Candidates
$60-65hr (Weekly pay)
3-4 month contract (Great potential for extension)
Full-time M-F 8am-5pm

The mission of the company Docs team is to guide everyone who uses their platform to confidently meet their goals.Product designers are critical to ensuring that the user experience (UX) of these tools doesnt get in the way, and instead empowers internal (i.e. internal staff) and external customers to be faster, make fewer mistakes, and consequently be more efficient.

Product Designers are expert individual contributors; they're given a lot of autonomy and trust to work on our most impactful design projects. For this role, we're looking for someone who shares our values in the following areas:
Shaping: Crafting excellent user experiences with a distinct perspective. Emphasis on the importance of good defaults and deliberate exclusions. Intentionality in what is included in the final solution.
Systems thinking: The role requires a designer who can think systematically about information architecture as well as existing and emerging UI patterns.
Progress and Tempo: It's easy to get caught up in the design details, so our designer must be mindful that we keep making decisions and move forward quickly. We prioritize progress over correctness.
Curiosity: In a fast-paced environment, particularly with projects involving AI and LLMs, our designer will need to rapidly learn about our existing platforms while being curious to explore new capabilities and opportunities.
What excites you:
Contribute and maintain product wireframes in Support Portal, and internal AI data analytic tool
Effectively leverage & contribute to components that make up Primer Design Systems
Contribute to and maintain the visual design of company support experience
Build wireframe & UI mockups that can be implemented by Engineers.
Help our business stakeholders understand the advantages and trade-offs of design decisions
Conduct customer research to influence product design decisions
Translate quantitative (i.e. user engagement metrics) and qualitative (i.e. survey responses) feedback into iterative design improvements.
Propose UX design improvements based off of interviews conducted with customers and alike.
What excites us:
2+yrs as a Product Designer supporting designing for enterprise support tools within Tech/SaaS industry.
Requires portfolio showcasing your involvement in projects, highlighting your hands-on experience as a Product Designer
Experience designing user interfaces that work across multiple platforms
Experience with visual design
Experience using Figma to create rapid wireframes and prototypes.
Ability to build wireframe & UI mockups that can be implemented by Engineers
Must have experience in designing for enterprise support portals
Some experience in designing for developer tools helpful
Experience contributing to or using an established design system (i.e. GitHub Primer Design System or similar).
Experienced working alongside Engineers, Product, and Program Managers to deliver designs thats aligned with an organization's brand & design team.
Experience shipping products/features from ideation to end-user prototype and presenting your work to end-users, engineers, subject matter experts, and executives.
Experience in UX principles, user research methods (Conduct customer research to influence product design decisions), and a user-centric approach to product design.
Experience in using Slack, Zoom, Teams, and Google Suite (sheets, docs, calendar, etc.)
