Sr Procurement Analyst

What you'll do:

We're looking for a Sr Procurement Analyst to source, negotiate and contract for goods and services, with a focus on IT and software suppliers, from vendors on behalf of JMP. 

You will:

• Manage the sourcing and supplier selection process for acquisitions for the organization
• Build and maintain effective supplier relationships
• Identify, collect, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support procurement decisions
• Study benchmarks and advise budget holders of market conditions
• Provide budgetary projections for areas of responsibility and monitor cost trends
• Research technical alternatives and apprise stakeholders of associated benefits; conduct market research to supplement business analysis; develop broad technical expertise in multiple product lines and disciplines
• Monitor and report performance of contractual agreements and / or projects
• Build value into business processes through the principles of supply management; and performs other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• Experience in procurement of goods and services, specifically IT Services and Software
• Good strategic sourcing skills with a IT/Software background
• Knowledge of contract language and Uniform Commercial Code
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Word 
• Knowledge of NetSuite a plus
• Excellent oral and written presentation/communication skills 
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
• Ability to independently assess situations and respond accordingly 

Preferences

• Documented contract administration in global contracts. 
• Experience with AIA Contract Documents. 
• C.P.M., CPSM, or CPCM Certification.
