In NC, we operate three pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are responsible for fulfilling different steps in our injectable and oral treatment supply chains.  Our legacy Injectable Finished Products (IFP) facility in Clayton, NC is a 457,000 square foot aseptic "fill and finish" site that is responsible for producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments. The Position

Creates & tracks purchase orders to external vendors through the Coupa System. Creates & tracks invoices to external vendors through the ICE System. Collaborate with controllers/finance/accounting regarding investment projects/appropriate cost centers costs. Collaborate with procurement specialist regarding vendor set-up, procurement contracts, vendor relations, etc.

Manager Project Director, Business Support.

 

Essential Functions

  • Support project plan ensuring accomplishment of time, quality & cost objectives
  • Track spending metrics related to IA & cost center
  • Facilitation of the Coupa process & primary contact for purchase order issuance
  • Facilitation of the ICE process & primary contact for vendor invoices
  • Assist local sourcing with qualification of suppliers & help address supplier issues with cost, delivery, &/or quality
  • Assist local sourcing regarding the PfM process. Identify PfM requirements/compliance
  • Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
  • Other accountabilities, as assigned

 

Physical Requirements

Moves equipment &/or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds within the facility using various body positions. Ability to do close precision work with their hands. Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting and standing) 50% of the time. May required corrected vision to 20/25 based on role. May require color vision based on role. Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder. May be required to work at elevated heights. Occasionally works around odorous &/or hazardous materials.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of project management or project controller experience required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to write & prepare procurement & financial reports required
  • Understanding of procurement processes including purchase requisitions & orders preferred
  • Knowledgeable in GMP concepts preferred
  • Understanding of SOW’s as well as RFP/RFQ’s preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills, investigative writing, & computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, & SAP required
  • Proven expertise in organizing information & resources for successful reporting & communications required
  • Experience in facilitation of team training within a project environment preferred
