Due to increased demand for our PCB Layout services, Optimum is currently seeking passionate Sr. Designers that are well versed with RF and Mixed Signal technology PCB's to join our world-class design team working from home. Priority is on superior design skills as opposed to a specific tool expertise; however, Siemens / Mentor Xpedition experience would be a plus.

Position: Senior PCB Layout Designer

Experience: 15+ Years

Job Summary: Design printed circuit boards (PCB) to meet our customer’s quality and delivery requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design printed circuit boards that meet or exceed our customer’s mechanical, electrical and manufacturing requirements.
• Design printed circuit boards to comply with the Optimum Designers Handbook to ensure project consistency among all designers.
• Meet or exceed customer’s on-time delivery requirements by effectively planning needed resources and proactively communicating in-process progress to our customer.
• Identify and resolve project issues as they arise.
• Help grow existing business by effectively being customer advocate

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• 15+ years of PCB Design Layout experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Effective organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Full understanding of PCB Layout techniques and processes within the context of meeting mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements.
• Expert user of Mentor Xpedition, Mentor PADS, Cadence Allegro, or Altium a plus
• Good knowledge of relevant IPC standards, Class II and III
