Layout Design Specialist-ONSITE

Lanvera is a leading CCM (Customer Communications Management) outsourcing and technology company specializing in the design, production, and delivery of secure customer communications including invoices, statements, tax forms, collection letters, compliance notices and other business critical documents to any delivery channel including print, electronic and mobile platforms. THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Layout Design Specialist is a member of our Professional Services group performing data configuration and Layout Design of all client communications including documents, emails, and SMS in both standard and mobile formats. The Layout Design Specialist is responsible for interpreting business and functional requirements and designing, developing and testing document composition. Other responsibilities include working with Lanvera Project Managers to create mock-ups and define page layout specifications as part of the post-sale client implementation.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Configure and update layouts by mapping XML data elements using Layout Design software to output HTML and PDF documents
· Interpret written business and functional requirements and technical specifications and produce Layout Design workflows
· Work with project managers to clarify requirements / specifications
· Work with software engineers for ETL and document mapping
· Utilize company systems to configure templates and settings according to requirements documentation
· Provide production support during business and non-business hours
· Perform quality assurance checks on output documents
· Serve as subject matter expert in client and internal meetings
· Identify and communicate system limitations and process improvement opportunities to leadership
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· Ability to pay attention to detail and work independently with minimal supervision and high level of precision
· Technical aptitude needed to understand the implications of code and design decisions
· Understanding of data files(XMLs, CSVs etc), basic filtering, and basic conditional and loop code
· Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with internal / external teams and clients
· Ability to solve complex problems and apply appropriate solutions
· Ability to plan and prioritize activities aligned to changing demands, balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
· Advanced computer skills, including the use of software to create documents, spreadsheets, and reports
· Document composition and Layout Design experience preferred
· Experience with Quadient Inspire Designer a plus
· Bachelor’s degree preferably in Technical / Communication, or related field.
