Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team in the retail industry. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our entire network infrastructure. This includes routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. You will work closely with the IT department and other stakeholders to ensure optimal network performance and security. Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and managing our local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure.
- Installing and configuring network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitoring and optimizing network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshooting network issues and providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Conducting regular network security assessments and implementing necessary measures to protect against unauthorized access.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement network improvements based on business needs.
- Managing network documentation, including network diagrams, inventories, and configuration details.
- On-Call Support: Provide support outside of regular business hours. Responding promptly to network emergencies, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to restore service.
- Must have Cisco Meraki/Palo alto firewall/AWS experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of work experience as a Network Engineer in the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and OSPF.
- Hands-on experience with network equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco and Juniper.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques for proactive network management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- NNCA, CCNP certification preferred.

Salary: The rate of pay is between $80K to $140K per year. This is general guideline only and not guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) the responsibilities of the job, your education, skills, qualifications, experience and location.
