POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, IT Integration, in partnership with the Director, Integration and leadership team, manages the planning, development, program management and execution of Information Technology system conversions for Republic Services. They will be responsible for tactical oversight and coordination of functional team members to ensure all IT integration activities and outcomes are programmatically structured and meet company objectives.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides leadership and program management for the successful integration of all acquisitions, delivering on all acquisition objectives.
  • Serves as active participant in IT diligence of target acquisitions in order to lead the evaluation of key issues, assessing integration challenges and development of post-close plans.
  • Owns tactical deployment of IT integration methodology, governance decisions and progress reports for Integration team.
  • Ensures timely delivery of IT milestones and technical features in
    coordination with assigned IT personnel.
  • Assists in the planning and deployment of IT infrastructure for newly acquired sites, including but not limited to, telecom, internet, cell phones, etc.
  • Ensures Integration leadership is aware of critical issues/risks and drives them to resolution with constant and consistent objectivity.
  • Manage and motivates Integration Specialists, providing guidance on best practices, effective collaboration, and communication with stakeholder.
  • Manages effective communications to all stakeholders through status meetings, steering committee reviews, and senior leadership presentations.
  • Conducts risk assessments and develops mitigation plans to proactively address challenges that arise through the integration process.
  • Stays current in deal and integration thought leadership and best practices to
    maintain cutting-edge M&A integration capabilities.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of end-to-end corporate development activities and demonstrated ability to facilitate complex and time sensitive decisions
  • Experience with deploying new technology/software for operational and
    financial end users
  • Exceptional project management skills with demonstrated capability in complex environments
  • Strong business acumen with direct leadership / management experience in at least one operational/functional role
  • Easily establishes rapport and builds strong relationships at multiple levels internally and externally; demonstrating ability to influence and gain key support for projects and business needs.
  • Hands-on leader with experience building and leading highly effective teams
  • Project Management related certification(s) from an accredited organization, preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 6 years of project management, business and/or M&A integration experience.
