Form of work JOB DESCRIPTIONSkiltrek is seeking an IT Program Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in computer science or information technology, exceptional management skills, and experience in academic research computing environments. This position will be responsible for overseeing workload management, project and ticket assignment, incident response, change control, and planning and overseeing quarterly system maintenance.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years' experience in IT Program Management or Master's Degree and at least 2+ years' experience in IT Program Management
a. Demonstrated experience managing and prioritizing a high-volume workload and multiple concurrent projects.
a. Creating emergency response processes
Strong technical acumen and deep understanding of academic research computing infrastructure and services.DESIRED SKILLS Project Management Certifications (PMP, OCM, CAPM, PMI, etc.)

- Experience with data storage (NAS preferred)
- Experience with acute incident response management
a. Creating emergency response processes
- Experience creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Experience prioritizing and delegating tickets and tasks
- Experience with change management
- Familiarity with virtual machine hosting and physical machine hosting
