Job Description Summary:


  • Plans, organize, direct and control the security policies, procedures and programs for all Memphis locations in the area of facility security in order Ensures the safety and security of employees and assets. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's degree/equivalent.
  • Seven (7) years related experience in law enforcement or corporate security including two (2) years management experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of FAA security regulations, laws and methods pertaining to a private security force, interrogations and investigations. Ability to complete required training programs. Strong basic management, human relations and communications skills.

Job Conditions
  • Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. If required to carry a firearm as part of job duties, subject to random drug testing.

Work/Domicile Location(s):
  • This position will be hybrid within a reasonable commutable distance from a FedEx office location. Position will be hybrid in Memphis, Tennessee or Indianapolis, Indiana. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees must be onsite as directed by leadership but allows team members flexibility to work from home otherwise.

Relocation:
  • Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.
