We are seeking a leader on the Brand Marketing team who will develop and drive effective 360 marketing strategies that accelerate growth and affinity for the Boll & Branch brand.
The Senior Brand Manager will leverage a strategic, creative and data-driven mindset to articulate and implement the Boll & Branch brand strategy — accelerating us into our next 10 years of growth. They will drive the continuous evolution of our brand framework and brand values, collaborating cross-functionally to build seasonal plans and evergreen programs. They will conduct research, collect insights from cross-functional partners, and immerse themselves in the luxury home space to uncover insights that fuel inspirational brand strategies.
This position requires rigorous cross-functional collaboration, a balanced creative/analytical mindset, and proactive leadership. The ideal candidate is passionate about nurturing brands, is obsessed with telling stories, and loves to think big and act fast.
This role will report to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Own the development and execution of the company's brand strategy to grow brand awareness and differentiation in the market
- Shape the strategy, development and execution of all marketing activities, inclusive of Brand Campaigns, Promotions, Product Launches and all other strategic initiatives (e.g. Sustainability campaigns, Impact campaigns, Store Openings)
- Maintain an omnichannel view of all brand activity, ensure cross-functional alignment on all marketing programs and protect a consistent expression of the brand across all consumer touchpoints
- Proactively initiate and manage programs, driving deadlines and marketing deliverables in all aspects of new program development, from concept and formulation to program kickoff, to final program and campaign delivery, on time and within budget
- Develop clear & thoughtful creative briefs; work alongside the Chief Creative Officer and internal team of Art Directors and Copywriters to build and execute best-in-class creative concepts that differentiate Boll & Branch from the market and communicate the brand's values
- Partner with channel owners across Acquisition, Retention, Ecommerce and Retail to understand channel goals and translate creative concepts into actionable strategies and communications
- Evaluate and understand the commercial impact of marketing tactics, clearly articulate what works and what doesn't to impact future plans
- Partner with the in-house Insights team to conduct research on brand KPIs and campaign performance, translating insights into strategic action; proactively collect consumer insights from across the organization to fuel strategic directives
- Proactively monitor the industry and competitive landscape to surface relevant opportunities for brand activations and messages
- Partner with the Insights Team to manage and regularly update the Boll & Branch Brand Tracker. Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly business updates to senior leadership on key brand health metrics
- Create and shape processes to reduce information silos, both within the marketing team and with other functions
- Assist Senior Director of Brand Marketing in preparing and presenting in leadership meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 7+ years of experience in Brand Marketing for world-class brands (experience at an in-house brand and in DTC is preferred)
- Ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships across the organization; able to influence members of cross-functional teams with an assertive brand POV
- Excellent storytelling skills and ability to synthesize complex information into simple ideas and briefs that can fuel compelling narratives, creative concepts and channel strategies
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and proactiveness. You leverage your natural leadership, people, and organizational skills in order to get results quickly
- Data-driven mindset, with proficiency in digital media mix and online customer journeys.

This position will have the opportunity to work predominantly from either our NYC satellite office or our Summit, NJ HQ (but will need to be at HQ for key team and cross-functional in-person meetings). We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have flexibility to work remotely. Currently we are operating under a hybrid model whereby all teams work in an office a minimum of two days per week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) and may be provided flexibility to work from home on other days. There may be times when you're asked to work in our Summit, NJ headquarters because it's in the best interest of our business or your team.
The annual base salary range for this role is $95,000-$150,000. It is important to note that our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and the market and are one part of the total rewards that we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, scope of the role, and internal peer benchmarking.
