Position Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned marketer who has a passion for food and cooking culture. This role is responsible for delivering breakthrough, best-in-class strategies, creative ideas, and activation plans for several brands within the Meals and Beverage Division (such as Campbell’s Condensed, Swanson Broth, Prego & Pace). As the owner of Integrated Marketing plans and content strategies, this position will collaborate with partners in brand, media, PR/social, consumer insights, shopper marketing and the Integrated Agency Team to develop and implement plans across all consumer touchpoints.

The ideal candidate is both creative and data-driven and can think big and execute effectively. Deep expertise in campaign development, partnership marketing and social media is critical to success. Additionally, a knack for motivating cross-functional teams to rally around strategies and plans is a key skill within our matrixed organization. This position will also have responsibility for developing and implementing an agile content approach, so a strong understanding of performance marketing is a core requirement.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • A constant pulse on consumers and food culture, bringing fresh thinking and perspectives to how, where and when we can reach our current and future audiences.
  • Integrate data and consumer insights to deliver best-in-class briefs to our agencies, guide the development of a fully integrated plan across paid, owned, and earned channels, and elevate creative / content output.
  • Architect vision for content strategies and ecosystems ensuring consistency with the brand and its mission/values.
  • Lead Integrated Agency Team in the creation and development of 360 communication plans, and ensure strategy and idea is threaded throughout all elements of the plan.
  • Expected to formulate sound strategies as well as drive executional excellence.
  • In partnership with subject matter experts drives decision to action and execution of content and tactical components across media, partnerships, owned channels, social, brand experiences/events etc.
  • Define metrics that ladder into broader business KPIs. Monitor in-market asset performance and drive content optimizations weekly.  
  • Collaborate with consumer insights and brand in consumer learning journeys/creative testing.
  • Create marketing comms materials for internal stakeholders that clearly deliver a compelling creative idea and activation plan.

Organizational Leadership:

  • This role supports the Director, Consumer Engagement and is a member of the Integrated Marketing team, led by the VP, Integrated Marketing.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years marketing/activation related experience in communications planning, advertising, channel expertise (paid, owned, earned).
  • Prior experience in food and a passion for cooking is a big plus. 
  • This candidate must have a track record of developing integrated communication strategies that have accelerated business growth.
  • Experience developing plans across multiple touchpoints and channels  — social, content partners, PR/experiential, media.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team to clearly define opportunities/problems, develop solutions and drive decision making.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills; ability to inform, influence and negotiate across functions and with all organization levels.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between 

$85,900-$140,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
