Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Sr Infrastructure Architect. This is a remote contract role.
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years in an architectural or senior engineering role.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting, designing, and maintaining large, hybrid network environments.
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Strong knowledge and leadership experience in technologies such as Fortinet and Cisco networking, Next Generation Firewall Design, Web Application Firewall, LAN, WAN, VPN, MPLS Architecture, Network Access Control, BGP Routing, VMWare virtualization, SDWAN, SASE, Identity and Access Management, Enterprise private/public DNS, Windows Server, Cloud/Azure product suites, Pure Storage, F5 load balancers, MS SQL Server, Powershell, Infrastructure Monitoring solutions, DaaS (Azure, Citrix), Microsoft platform security, Data Protection, Operational Security Controls, DevOps concepts, SDLC methodologies, Infrastructure as Code, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite, Windows 10, and collaborative technologies like SharePoint.
• Professional certifications from Fortinet, Cisco, Microsoft, VMWare, and/or security certifications such as CISSP are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), storage systems, and virtualization technologies is a plus.

What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

• Develop innovative IT infrastructure strategies and solutions aligned with the company's business objectives and compliance standards.
• Architect and contribute to the establishment and upkeep of robust, secure, efficient, and scalable IT infrastructure networks, systems, and associated processes.
• Evaluate and enhance the performance, scalability, and efficiency of existing IT infrastructure.
• Lead the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Cloud platform teams to ensure coherence and interoperability between Cloud and OnPremise infrastructure.
• Work in tandem with IT security teams to guarantee the infrastructure's resilience against potential threats, reviewing and updating security policies, controls, and incident response plans.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT Infrastructure and operations teams.
• Engage with vendors and service providers to select and oversee the deployment of new infrastructure technologies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and diagrams for IT networks, systems, and other infrastructure.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
• Oversee the implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure.
• Manage capacity planning and monitoring of network systems and IT resources.
• Offer technical expertise and support during system outages or incidents related to infrastructure.
