Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

Job Duties:
The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of project artifacts representing AccentCare's Infrastructure builds. The Infrastructure Architect works closely with applications owners, infrastructure teams, and security to provide a fully documented infrastructure technology solution based on standard product offerings. As a subject matter expert (SME), the Infrastructure Architect is responsible for documenting and understanding the current environment for each design request. The Infrastructure Architect also interfaces with the Systems, Network, and Security engineering teams to understand current technology trends and to review technology standards. Additional duties include:

• Document and develop in-depth knowledge of company's existing IT architecture/infrastructure, and technology portfolio as it relates to their domain;
• Provide leadership, mentoring, direction, and assistance as well as architectural consulting expertise to Enterprise Architects, Systems Analysts, Application Developers, and other Solution Architects, to facilitate the delivery of solutions that meet business objectives in a cost-efficient manner;
• Participate in the development, documentation, communication, and enforcement of a technology standards policy;
• Participate in the development, documentation, recommendation, and communication of plans for investing in IT infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities;
• Review new and existing IT projects and systems designs, ensuring compliance with IT standards and architectural plans;
• Collaborate with end users and senior management to define business requirements for complex systems development and gain buy-in for all infrastructure plans;
• Work with project sponsors during the project planning phase to understand the requirements to define an architecture design that meets the business and technical needs;
• Provide complete architecture designs that consider functionality, cost, performance, scalability, reusability, and extensibility;
• Contribute to system integration architecture where the solution requires integration between enterprise systems;
• Identify new technologies, industry trends, and best practices, which should be incorporated into AccentCare's policies & roadmap;
• Conduct research and Proofs of Concept on emerging technologies in support of anticipated development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.

Qualifications
Requirements:
The position of Infrastructure Architect requires a Bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate IT & Security experience. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field and three (3) years of progressively-responsible, post-baccalaureate IT & Security experience or equivalent work experience.
Specific Skills or Other Requirements:
Additionally, the applicant must have:

• Experience with development, documentation, communication, and enforcement of a technology standards policy.
• Experience with PowerShell or PowerCLI.
• Experience with Application Solutions (Applications, Databases and Middleware).
• Experience with Infrastructure Architecture including: Windows and Linux operating systems; Hypervisors (VMWare); IP networks (WAN, LAN, SDWAN); Cloud (Azure, Amazon);
• Experience with security architecture (NGFW and IDS./IPS).
