Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
  • Provides strategic HR leadership and expert guidance to assigned client groups, along with consultation and delivery of HR programs and services to meet key company objectives.
  • Well-versed in Evolus corporate strategy, people strategy and Evolus philosophies for performance, compensation and leadership, and draws from these in designing programs.
  • Employs skills in teaming, collaborative working, team launch/assimilation, organizational design and change management as needed to evolve functional teams.
  • Coaches and guides leaders in decision making, conflict resolution, hiring and development of key talent.
  • Implements and advises on talent development, employee and team growth and succession plans across the business. Helps leaders turn plans into actionable activities that drive the business.
  • Partners with functional business leaders for annual compensation program, managing performance and talent management/development.
  • Partners with functional business leaders as needed to develop hiring and workforce plans, functional organizational design and the alignment of talent development strategies.
  • In collaboration with people leaders, addresses and resolves employee relations issues as well as conducts formal internal investigations as necessary and coaches managers on any appropriate disciplinary process or actions.
  • Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data, and makes suggestions for improvements.
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Develops and leads people engagement efforts, is a steward of our culture values (Grit + Impact + Fun + Transparency)
  • Seeks and uses people analytics to understand and advise on team dynamics and HR programs; informing solutions and proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, including applicable wage and hour regulations and legal requirements related to FMLA, EEO, ADA.
  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
ESG
  • Actively participate in the development and execution of the company’s ESG strategy
  • Ongoing responsibility for the collection, analysis, and management of data related to ESG metrics, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, capture, and enhance relevant ESG data points across the organization.
  • Research ESG trends, identify industry best practices and review the ESG practices of peer companies, including disclosure, to help support the company’s ESG strategy
  • Assist in developing ESG materials including tear sheets, website and reports; assist with the development of ESG messaging
  • Help champion good ESG practices within the company
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a variety of HR functional areas (generalist, employee relations, recruiting, etc.)
  • Prior experience working in a biotech or technology environment; experience supporting G&A and R&D functions preferred
  • Accuracy, confidentiality and ability to exercise discretion
  • Strong communication and change management skills required, in addition to ability to build strong relationships both vertically and horizontally.
  • Agile, willing to work beyond boundaries and flex when needed to meet business needs
  • Driven self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to tactically execute and is always intellectually curious

  • This position reports to the SVP, Human Resources
The expected pay for this position is $160,600 to $196,300 annual salary. Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications and more.
