Overall Purpose
This key senior Human Capital Management (HCM) strategist is responsible for managing and implementing key strategies and initiatives to scale. Optimizes delivery of HR services, programs and initiatives designed to support enterprise talent and culture goals.
Essential Functions

  • Strategic Planning and Thought Leadership: Partner with People team and executive stakeholders to develop compelling 1-3 year strategic plans aligned with the company vision and strategy. Produce associated materials that are structured and communicated in high-quality outputs, both in written and oral form. Support the Chief People Officer (CPO) in implementing strategic initiatives for the People team.
  • Service Delivery Brand - Partner with internal communications team and manage social media presence strategy for CPO and People team.
  • Organizational Design Strategist: Assess complex HCM and Workplace opportunities, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, and drive actionable outcomes through data-driven processes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead all aspects of strategic People Team initiatives driving role clarity and clear accountabilities, in partnership with stakeholders. This includes business case development, recommendations, and execution.
  • Business Routine Leadership: Serves as the main point of contact for managing People team business routines, operations, and strategic project implementations. Manages regular cadence of meetings and keeps Sr. Leadership informed of key deliverables. Authors highly effective and professionally written communications including CPO communications and presentations.
  • Team Operations: Coordinate and manage People Team staff meetings; serve as trusted resource and escalation point for CPO. Assists in managing the CPO's P&L and providing monthly support on the P&L and forecasting process.
  • Workplace and culture: Provides leadership and oversight of workplace and culture program strategies which may include DEI, AAP, Culture, and Work From Office programs.
  • Supports the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years or more years of relevant education and related work experience.
  • Experience in innovating, translating ideas into action plans and delivering results.
  • Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner - both verbally and in writing.
  • Entrepreneurial approach and passionate strategic thinker with enterprise mindset.
  • Ability to develop deep relationships with executives, decision makers, and influencers.
  • Experience leading organizational change management efforts.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading organization change efforts.
  • Workplace program implementation experience in a corporate setting, working alongside cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The pay scale for this position in:
Phoenix, AZ in USD per year is: $180,000 - $210,000.
New York, NY in USD per year is: $220,000 - $240,000.

Early Warning Services takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining a competitive salary offer, including, but not limited to, the job scope, market rates and geographic location of a position, candidate's education, experience, training, and specialized skills or certification(s) in relation to the job requirements and compared with internal equity (peers).
