The typical base pay range for this role is between $170K - $230K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation. Responsibilities:
Specific to this role, your mandate will be broad across the business management capabilities and require management of a team to deliver on the following key areas, among other responsibilities:
- Oversight and execution for IT of the Americas (ITA)-level strategic initiatives and special projects
- Support for ITA in external regulatory exams/ad hoc requests, internal audit reviews, and finding/issue remediation activities
- Lead ITA strategic initiatives and cross-functional, complex programs
- Leadership across business management functions in support of ITA senior leaders and technology areas
- Leverage team of dedicated Business Managers and functional partners to ensure consistent ITA delivery on financial targets, workforce strategy, joint service commitments (transfer pricing/service catalogs), governance/reporting, and communications efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or Operations or Business / Management or Finance related fields.
- Equivalent work experience equally preferable.
- 15+ years working in leadership positions within Financial Services, and minimum 10 years in a managerial role within Technology and/or Risk departments with fiscal responsibility for large programs or departments
- Risk management experience engaging directly with regulators in support of technology teams/solutions/policies and standards
- Strong general manager with ability to prioritize, plan, and execute business initiatives, related metrics and reporting, resources, governance, and routines to enable improved business performance.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize data to continually identify opportunities for improvement, solutions, and execute.
- Strong management skills, excellent communication skills, both oral & written, and ability to interact with all levels of management.
- Experience interacting with regulators on examinations and issues remediation and second line and third line of defense and to ID and resolve issues internally preferred
- Demonstrated track record of delivering positive results in project work within the technology function of an organization, including high quality implementations within timeframe and budgetary constraints
- Good consensus-builder; able to drive large scale initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups, work through obstacles and remove barriers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse projects including, analytical thinking, planning, prioritizing, problem solving, decision making and managing programs that impact the entire organization.
