Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The Human Resources Technology (HRT) team at AMD is recognized as the technical expert in providing creative, value-added systems and solutions to meet Human Resources business needs.
We are seeking an experienced Sr. HR Technology Solutions Manager with a strong focus on SuccessFactors Compensation Management and Total Rewards solutions to join our team in developing and implementing innovative HR Technology Solutions related to SuccessFactors Compensation, 3rd Party interfaces, and internal applications. The SuccessFactors Solution Architect will work with the HR Technology Director as part of our AMD HR Technology team. Come join our hard-working team!

THE PERSON:
This high-level individual contributor role will serve a solution architect as part of the HR Technology Team and should have a solid understanding of leading practices and solutioning in the areas Compensation Management, Employee Central, and Total Rewards within SAP SuccessFactors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serves as the HR Functional Lead on projects and enhancements and collaborates with the HR Technology team, the IT HR Support Team, and the COE Domain Experts.
  • Provides domain expertise in SuccessFactors Compensation Management, Total Rewards, and Employee Central
  • Serves as the main liaison between the COE Business Users and IT Technical Team, to provide SuccessFactors domain expertise to clarify requirements and system functionality
  • Facilitates and documents business requirements to ensure alignment between business requests and IT understanding and system capabilities
  • Translates requirements into system solutions (either through direct system configuration where applicable, or partnering with IT or a third-party resource for sophisticated configuration)
  • Develops viable and sustainable system solutions and processes to efficiently run data entry, interfaces, and processes (either independently, or in collaboration with HR Technology, IT, and/or COE SMEs)
  • Responsible for the end-to-end execution of project/enhancement life cycle, including as-is and to be analysis, scope definition, process improvement, and testing
  • Develop discernment to properly lead and document business requirements, build use cases, and testing scenarios
  • Ensure successful rollout and ongoing support of projects/enhancements
  • Responsible for running HR Technology change requests to accommodate business needs
  • Responsible for status updates on projects/enhancements and partner concerns of issues/risks as vital
  • Functions as a team member within the department and organization, and performs assigned duties efficiently, and in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently, and execute against results in a high volume, high-paced environment
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on configuration experience with SuccessFactors Compensation, Employee Central (Core HR), and 3rd Party interfaces is required
  • Experience with configuring compensation worksheets, compensation statements, and business rules within SuccessFactors
  • Validated understanding of Compensation Management and how it integrates with SuccessFactors HCM
  • Exposure to other SuccessFactors modules is strongly recommended
  • Deep expertise and configuration experience in SuccessFactors Compensation Management and Employee Central
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio)
  • SuccessFactors certifications in Compensation Management and/or other modules a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's Degree in related subject

Qualifications:
At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
