Sr. Food Scientist
Our client is looking for a Senior Food Scientist for their location in Southern New Jersey. They are expected to have extensive knowledge and experience in food science, food safety, and product development to fulfill the responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new products or improve existing ones
- Management the development, research, and formulation of the new products
- Perform lab analysis
- Prepare final product formulations for testing and approval
- Maintain detailed records of research, development, and testing activities
- Assist in the training of Jr. Food Scientists and other laboratory staff
- Maintain laboratory inventory
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of prior experience in a food laboratory environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
- Master's Degree is a plus
- Beverage or Flavor experience is highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills
