Chemist / Food Scientist

5 days a week, total of ~ 40 hours per week, 8AM-5PM

• Ideally 0-1 years in a lab setting.
• A four-year degree in a science related or similar technical field will also be acceptable (food science, chemical engineering, or chemistry)
• Support development and execution of growth launches on bench prototyping experiments and supporting plant trials
• Analytical assessment of products and preparation for analytical testing/shelf-life testing
• Preparation of samples and paperwork for consumer testing
• Excellent written and oral communications skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• food science or chemistry: 3 years (Preferred)
• preparation for analytical testing/shelf-life testing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Preparation of samples and paperwork: 3 years (Preferred)
• Analytical Chemist or Food Scientist: 3 years (Preferred)
