As interns, you'll gain a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of what it entails to operate within a global Flavors, Fragrances and Ingredients organization. We are currently looking for an Experimentalist/Data Scientist in our Formulation & Materials Science (F&MS) team within Science & Research at our Princeton office.
Internships begin the first week of June through the third week of August. Our standard working hours are Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week).

Key responsibilities
  • Explore properties and functionalities of new plant-based food materials.
  • Characterize food materials and prototypes using imaging, rheological, thermal, and gravimetric techniques.
  • Analyse and interpret data using data analytics tools.
  • Keep accurate record of experimental materials, methods, and results.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate results to project teams and present findings in department meetings.

You bring
  • Your educational background, where you are enrolled in a bachelor's program in Food Science, chemistry, chemical engineering, data science or related field.
  • Your availability to work full-time (37.5 hour per week) for 12 weeks beginning on June 3, 2024 - August 23, 2024.
  • Your enthusiasm for laboratory experiments combined with data analysis.
  • Your eagerness to work in fast-paced environment surrounded by some of the biggest talents and brands in the Flavor, Fragrance and Ingredients industry.
  • Your excellent teamworking and communication skills.
  • Your ability to deliver results under agreed upon deadlines.
