Be part of a team that design and develop test procedures and standards for extraordinarily complex products. You will participate in the development and certification of environment test functionality across multiple products and applications. Key Responsibilities
- 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday -Friday
- Perform radiation testing of various components and systems for radiation characterization and component up screening
- Repair/maintenance of radiation sources requires mechanical and electrical work described in manuals
- Following test plans to conduct radiation testing onsite
- Setting up hardware, handling components, test fixture design, electrical test development, testing at external radiation test facilities
- Analyzing and interpreting test data and leading and/or participating on teams that resolve technical issues
- Close interface with other cross site and cross functional organizations to include systems, design, and test.
U.S. Citizen REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
- Associates degree in electronics or equivalent military training
- 5+ years of component test experience
- Strong mechanical background required for repair and maintenance
- Understanding of vacuum systems and associated pumps
- Extensive knowledge of general-purpose test equipment must include advanced understanding of oscilloscopes, RF generators, power sources and spectrum analyzers
- Must be able to obtain security clearance or possess an active security clearance

- Experience performing system level tests including characterization, data acquisition setup, and noise reduction techniques
- Strong electronic analysis skills and problem-solving
- able to multi-task, work independently, and work with test engineers and other technicians
- Strong communications skills are essential to provide team input and feedback to Test engineers for evaluation.
