We have an exciting opportunity to join our Store Tech Services team as a Sr Engineer, Store Technology. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our store-facing systems. This position requires a strong focus on software engineering, automation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall reliability of Store Technology solutions.
- Partner with development and operations teams to enhance the reliability and availability of our store-facing systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Design, implement, and manage end-to-end automation processes, encompassing build automation, test automation, and deployment automation
- Utilize your proficiency in .NET, Java, and PowerShell to develop automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and performance management
- Manage and streamline the configurations of our store systems using your expertise in Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Docker, and Intune
- Build and support system management of technical environments and our retail hardware systems
- Manage enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM), ensuring the effective deployment, security, and management of mobiles devices in our retail environment
- Respond quickly to incidents affecting system reliability, trouble issues, and implement technically-sound solutions to minimize the impact on our stores and customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for development, deployment, and reliability
- Analyze and optimize store systems for scalability, efficiency, and resource utilization, contributing to the overall improvement of our store tech infrastructure
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions to track system performance, analyze trends, and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure automation, deployment processes, and best practices
- Strong programming and scripting skills, with proficiency in .NET, Java, and PowerShell
- Experience with configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Docker, and Intune
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system optimization
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
The annual base salary range is $90,000 - $120,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
