About the Role

As analyst for Engineering IT Business Systems within the global Engineering Business Office, you will be responsible for the topic Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) and related Projects. You will work globally in cross-functional teams within Magna Powertrain and offer expert advice and assistance in the use of Engineering IT Business Systems and Infrastructure to all our employees. You report directly to the Sr. Manager, Global PE Tool Management & Systems.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain & publish Magna Powertrain’s current and future state of Engineering Enterprise Architecture including business and technical tool attributes in alignment with Magna’s enterprise strategy
  • Work collaboratively with Building Block and Functional Group teams, and other members of the Engineering Powertrain leadership team to create an architectural vision for our Engineering tool landscape
  • Processing and coordination of demand and project portfolio management for efficient engineering Business Systems roadmap planning, monitoring and execution
  • Support projects for business system evaluation, implementation, and roll-out
  • Maintain an appropriate level of industry knowledge across business areas, identifying new technologies to support our business needs
  • License Management and business system KPI reporting in close cooperation with stakeholders, vendor management, and IT
  • Ensure that information security and compliance guidelines are considered effectively in the enterprise architecture
  • Support MPT’s enterprise architecture management team to design, develop, and optimize guidelines and standards for target state capabilities 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationship with major stakeholders, global IT, and external partners
     

Who we are looking for

  • Engineering IT background
  • Profound knowledge in Product Development is highly welcome
  • Fluent English, other foreign languages are welcome
  • High level of leadership
  • Organizational skills and analytical thinking
  • Flexibility and travel-readiness (at least 20%; worldwide)

Your preferred qualifications

  • Degree of an engineering education, e.g., university or high school for mechatronics, IT or informatics
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience preferably in the automotive industry (process knowledge)
  • Comprehensive expertise and mythological knowledge in engineering application

The gross monthly salary corresponding to the metal collective agreement for 38.5 hours with a Masters Degree is at least 3.790,58 (14 x p.a.). Overpayment is possible according to your experience and educational background.
