Sr. Electronic Print Operator

The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization headquartered in Richmond, VA, is in search of a Sr. Electronic Print Operator!
Hours: Full-time
Location: Richmond, VA
In this role you will be responsible for the IMB reprographics and day-to-day print production and cutting.
Responsibilities:

• Operate Konica-Minolta C-7090 Color Press. Check file integrity for default fonts and troubleshoot file size issues. Transport electronic files to Fiery controller and assign paper input/output options to meet project specifications. Monitor quality integrity.
• Coordinate efforts with Electronic Print Operator regarding supply needs and create requisitions in WorkDay to ensure that supplies and other materials are ordered in a timely manner.
• Complete finishing process using electronic power knife for cutting, Duplo DB-290 Perfect Binder, and a padding press.
• Operate HP L335 Wide Format printer and cutter. Use Flexi 21 Production Management software to set parameters for type of media, size, and cutting.
• Coordinate with IMB staff to exchange information such as project status, specifications, adjust priorities, and to clarify capabilities of reprographics.
• Provides proper handling of sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
• Consult with outside vendors regarding service calls, upgrades, new technology and technical supports.
• Operate and maintain Ibico RL-27 laminator. Set heat temperatures and roller pressure.
• Operate Hermes IS 400 name badge engraver.

• High School diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar position.
• Experience using high-volume printers/copies.
• Knowledge of fiery printing software.
• Advanced knowledge of reprographics equipment, procedures, and related production costs with the ability to recommend options to clients.
• Ability to estimate supply needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
