Sr. Electrical Engineer (Electromechanical/Mechatronic)

Duties and Accountabilities:
- Assist in the activities for the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods and processes
- Determine, develop, implement and maintain manufacturing methods and processes. These include, but not limited to, the development and improvement of production processes, methods and operation sequences for the manufacture of components, subassemblies and final products and recommendations for tooling and processing requirements for these parts
- Supervise / guide activities of manufacturing assembly personnel
- Assist in the training of manufacturing personnel
- Investigate, develop and evaluate new manufacturing methods, processes and techniques
- Participate in the design for manufacturable activities
- Review and work toward the improvement of existing manufacturing methods / processes
- Recommend the use and assist in the development of manufacturing tooling, jigs and aids and recommends the use and participate in the set-up and evaluation of manufacturing equipment
- Develop / assist in the development and update of assembly guides, written procedures and illustrations
- Participate in the development / design of new products
- Detect and resolve technical problems in production processes
- Assist in failure analysis of rejects, determination of causes and the development of corrective active
- Monitor general performance of assembly manufacturing/process equipment and provide for maintenance and as needed, repairs
- Maintain records of developmental work, evaluations and developed operation sequences and conditions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Expertise in high-performance, high-reliability, Schottky Rectifiers, Rectifiers, Mosfets, Bipolar Transistors, Power Modules & Bridge Rectifiers
- Skilled at measurement techniques and test equipment use
- Knowledge of power supplies & power systems
- Previous experience in characterizing, designing and debugging of components and/or power systems
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills, with ability to work in a team
- Hands-on experience with power supply design and reliability issues
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with military power supplies & Quality Systems a plus

Training & Experience
Experience: 5 years (MINIMUM) of related work experience in Manufacturing environment
Education: 4 Year Degree - Mechatronic/Electromechanical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (REQUIRED)
Schedule: Full-time / Monday – Friday
Salary: $80K Annual / Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule (Direct Deposit Available)
