How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Meet or exceed the company's safety standards. Comply with E&C Global and Local
engineering standards and other industry standards. Participate and develop the Design
Basis and Solution for proposals. Manage, direct and coordinate engineering activities
and operations, including but not limited to new product development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To perform works in process or/and design on the specific assignment during development or proposals or project:
• Meet or exceed the company's safety standards
• Comply with E&C Global and Local engineering standards and other industry standards
• Participate and develop the Design Basis and Solution for proposals
• Creating Electrical drawing for projects or proposals.
• Creating and Ensure that instrumentation and control systems are designed and installed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Utilize global standards to develop electrical design
• Generate technical deliverables
• Attend and contribute to Design Review meetings
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
• Performs the F.A.T.
• Reviews Client's technical documentation and requirements.

EDUCATION
• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering with 4 years of experience or B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience (preferred).
EXPERIENCE
• Preferably 3+ years' experience in the Turbo-Expander or Pump System Engineering or Manufacturing Environment and Designing Rotating Equipment
• Very good written and verbal communications skills. Coordination between the Projects, Proposals, Estimation, Sales and Process & amp; Systems Departments as well as the various disciplines are key to the success of this position.
• Very good technical writing ability for reports with supporting data and references
• Good understanding of various equipment/ instrumentation used in Cryogenic plants
• Very good problem solving skills: Will be called upon to take independent decisions.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, work independently and partly from home.
• Short term travel locally (Houston) or internationally (mainly France) is possible depending on the assigned work tasks
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge and Experience in Instrumentation and control systems for Turbomachinery.
• Very good knowledge in PLC and Labview.
• Experience in electrical instrumentation.
• Experience with Solidworks.
• Experience of work in a multicultural environment is an asset
• Experience with failure and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of electrical codes.
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $90,000 - $100,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
