Overview of the Role:
As the Senior Director of Sales reporting to the SVP or Vice President of Sales, your main objective is to drive membership growth, ensure retention, and build relationships in your assigned markets/territories, with a focus on daily and weekly performance metrics. This role requires an innovative, driven individual skilled in tactical planning and leading both internal and external teams to exceed sales and retention goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve overall growth targets for assigned markets monthly.
- Lead and guide your team to exceed sales, community engagement, external relations, and retention goals.
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly sales tactics.
- Keep the team updated on company news, CMS sales compliance, and guidelines.
- Enhance partnerships with providers and community stakeholders.
- Conduct weekly 1:1s, and quarterly performance reviews, encouraging team development.
- Analyze market data (SWOT) and monitor competitor and broker activities.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
Supervisory Duties:
- Manage recruitment, broker shadowing, training, and team development.
- Set a positive example, inspiring your team to achieve their targets.
- Uphold company policy compliance, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct weekly team meetings and ensure clear, effective communication.
- Represent the company in mandatory administrative and training sessions.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years in sales leadership; 3+ years in sales, clinical, or community outreach.
- Medicare knowledge and health insurance background preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory, active life insurance license beneficial.
- Strong organizational, leadership, public speaking, and computer skills.
- Regular office presence required for market updates and inter-departmental coordination.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent communication, standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds.
- Need for close vision and focus adjustment.
Pay Rate: $144,000 - $216,000 Annually
