Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aSr. Director, Demand Planning to join the Data Center Power & Control Division Team. This position is responsible for providing oversight and expertise to Demand Planning functions across Legrand North & Central America (LNCA) in the Data, Power and Control Sector (DPC), which consists of four businesses. The DPC sector is a high-growth area for Legrand with a complex supply chain. The incumbent is a strong, experienced leader and able to function in both a matrix and direct organization. The key needs of this position are to develop an S&OP strategy that supports the needs of the four individual businesses along with overall inventory strategies to support business growth, optimize working capital, and minimize E&O. Additionally, this leader will drive Legrand’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals and targets to ensure complete end-to-end alignment focusing on customer needs, cost, efficiency, and growth opportunities are integrated as part of the DPC supply chain processes. The position will report directly to the Vice President of Operations, DPC.
The Sr. Director, of Demand Planning will provide senior leadership in the development and management of demand and supply planning activities globally. The primary goal will be balancing the competing objectives to maximize customer service, minimize supply chain costs, and optimize working capital. Coordinate with local Operations, sales, and business teams to balance supply/demand, achieve business objectives, and develop talent.

What Will You Do?
- Drive and lead the development of culture within and outside the Demand Planning organization.
- Lead the Planning function – to include policies, and procedures and direct the leverage of systems to benefit the organization.
- Be responsible for implementation, analytics, and continued improvements of a robust S&OP process.
- Facilitate the development of tools and systems to drive flexibility and visibility of growth surges in product family demand. Utilizing a Supply strategy that is aligned with the business and translates into execution actions.
- Drive inventory targets and monitor supply/replenishment to achieve targeted inventory levels on both cost and turn basis.
- Lead Demand planning objectives to manage and optimize inventory, slow-moving and obsolescence.
- Lead (where appropriate) standardization of and Incorporate inventory positions into the overall S&OP process to help facilitate Supply decisions.
- Support global processes to plan current and future demands.
- Support functional leads and manufacturing leads to plan optimization of the Supply Chain footprint to address cost and service targets.
- Partner with Customer Service leads to drive common alignment in the service model, culture, and relationships.
- Driving adherence to service metrics; On-Time Performance, Lead Time, Voice of the Customer.
- Financial metrics; Inventory Levels, Inventory Turns, Quality of Inventory, E&O.
- Develop, direct, and support ongoing and new planning technology initiatives.
- Provide senior leadership to establish processes, procedures, and tools related to new business processes.
- Lead strategic initiatives to improve service, minimize supply chain costs, and optimize working capital.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Broad inventory management knowledge is essential.
- Experience in navigating cross-business complex organizational needs and requirements.
- Extensive experience in running end-to-end S&OP processes, IBP knowledge desirable.
- Understanding of Demand Planning within ERP systems, SAP is preferred but not essential.
- Strong competencies in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated leader with strong strategic and operational skills to lead transformational change.
- Proven ability to drive successful inventory/working capital strategies, lead time responsiveness, and customer service levels.
- In-depth knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain.
- In-depth S&OP Knowledge base.
- Organizational capability to sustain results through systems.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with measurable results.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to effectively interact with and influence personnel of various levels and disciplines.

- Strong project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage project plans, establish priorities, work to deadlines, and control several projects at various stages of work.
