Demand Planning Rep Ii

Position Overview
The Demand Planning Representative II position will assist Demand Planners, Sr. Demand Planners and Buyers with distribution management, support tasks (internal and external reporting, SOP documentation, etc.), and may have some forecasting responsibility. Throughout these areas of accountability, a Demand Planning Representative maintains a high level of execution for assigned responsibilities, while keeping constant communication flow to the customer. This position provides the opportunity to learn about the industry and grow throughout the process, allowing for a clear career progression path within the department and procurement function. This position will at times require independent decision-making around proper handling on allocations.
Job Description

• Maintain allocations in the NODS system, or via customer communication in system
• Monitor inventory levels and release dates for allocations in NODS as well as report updates and changes to the business
• Run, manipulate, and distribute a variety of reports for internal and external use
• Receive and validate allocation for items that are new to customer's product offering
• Adjust, cancel, and expedite the allocations as received by the customer account, buyers and ad analysts
• Work collaboratively across teams in order to innovate as well as anticipate and adapt to change
• Organize and communicate changes to appropriate teams
• Maintain SOP documentation, and train peers on processes
• Suggest and assist in process improvements within the assigned workload
• Additional Responsibilities - Depending on customer account, conduct forecasting analytics, as needed
• Book and maintain programs
• Provide coverage for individuals when out of the office including some weekend hours
• Support holiday actions or trouble-shooting activities

Skills
Specialized Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge; procurement knowledge is a plus
Special Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills; outstanding attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing atmosphere; basic Excel skills
Other: Able to work 3-4 hours of weekend coverage on a quarterly basis
Years Of Experience
0-2: years of experience in an office environment and/or Wholesale-retail industry; Knowledge of Procurement processes is preferred
