In this role, you will keep CDW safe by developing and building enterprise-wide Data Security solutions. You will identify, classify and protect the firm’s data wherever it sits and wherever it travels.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain the firm’s security strategy toward data on-prem, in the cloud and in transit.
- Identify and classify data types across the enterprise.
- Be hands-on responsibilities for designing, building, and implementing enterprise-wide scalable Data Security solutions including solutions for encryption, data masking, and tokenization of sensitive information.
- Work with key stakeholders to enforce data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, such as PCI, NIST 800-53 REV4, ISO, etc
What we expect of you:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 7 years of related work experience in an information security focused role
- 3 years of related work experience in a data engineering/security focused role
- Experience with building and implementing Data Security tools such as BigID in large enterprise environments.
- Experience with API gateways
- Experience with designing environments according to NIST 800-53 Rev4 standards
- Experience with designing PCI environments
- Strong understanding of cryptography, Key Management Systems (KMS), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), a plus
- Familiarity with Public Key Cryptographic Standards and network security protocols (SSH, SSL/TLS, SCP/SFTP).
- Experience with cryptographic algorithms (asymmetric and symmetric) and encryption options for structured and unstructured data
- Experience with access control tools a plus
