We are actively seeking a Sr. Content Strategistto join our Brand Experience Team. This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the US. The role may require periodic travel.

 

Position Summary

 

As the Sr. Content Strategist you will develop and execute content strategies to support brand awareness and demand generation campaigns for our solutions and services. You will be responsible for planning, developing, writing, editing, reviewing, and measuring compelling content across a wide range of channels, including social media, SEO, and integrated marketing campaigns.

 

This senior-level individual contributor role reports to the Vice President of Brand and Content Strategy. You will work closely with a team of designers, writers, Content Strategists, and project managers and with stakeholders across marketing, communications, and sales to deliver high-quality content that engages and converts our target audience and builds brand awareness and loyalty. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content strategies in support of brand awareness and demand generation campaigns
  • Create customer and content journey maps to optimize the customer experience, tailored to key audience personas, segments and verticals, and technology categories
  • Work closely with campaign teams, product marketing, communications, and sales enablement to co-plan and align content strategies with business objectives and outcomes
  • Write and edit compelling headlines, copy and content including nurture emails, landing pages, digital ads, video scripts, webinar presentations,, social media, print, blog, and long-form content, for integrated brand awareness and demand gen campaigns
  • Synthesize multiple inputs (messaging pillars, project briefs, source documents, and interviews) with feedback sources (peer reviews, stakeholder reviews, legal reviews) to produce deliverables  
  • Leverage AI tools for focused prompt engineering and efficient content generation
  • Partner with internal creative, design, video, web, editorial, and content strategy teams to develop compelling creative platforms and concepts
  • Help lead cross-org alignment, governance, and application of best practices for efficient, effective, consistent content experiences along the customer journey
  • Measure content performance with journey stage-specific KPIs focused on audience needs and business objectives; apply data-based insights to continuous content optimization
  • Manage agency and contract creative resources to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
  • Manage editorial calendars and ensure timely delivery of content
Qualifications/Skills/Experience

Experience

  • 10 years of content strategy and marketing writing experience for B2B audiences in the IT/tech/SaaS industry, in house or agency equivalent
  • Top-tier writing and editing skills
  • Proven experience with content marketing, journey mapping, social media, SEO, and demand generation campaigns
  • Familiarity with AI tools and best practices, prompt writing, and developing AI-generated marketing content and assets
  • Experience at adapting voice and tone to align with each stage of the buyer journey
  • Working understanding of UX principles
  • Educational background in English, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or Journalism
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ability to influence, persuade, and work effectively with C-level executives and other senior stakeholders
  • Stellar presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with brand metrics and content performance measurement, insights and analytics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams, advanced PDF editing, and project management platforms     
  • Experience using the Smartsheet project management platform is a plus 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-focused environment
  • A spirit of curiosity, creativity, and passion
