Description: The pay range is $69,000.00 - $124,200.00
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. A role on the Supply Chain Change and Communications Team means being at the heart of our HQ and Field messaging to our leaders, team members, and vendors. This group is the hub for Supply Chain operational communication, building clear and actionable internal communication for our supply chain facilities that drives efficiency and supports operational needs. We build and govern tactics for communication in collaboration with client groups to understand their goals, strategies, and processes, to develop thorough communication plans that reflect and support their work. The operational communication team acts as a voice for an audience population of over 55,000 team members and leaders.
As a Senior Communications Manager, you are a critical part of the change and communications team. You will work with business partners, stakeholders, and the broader change and communications team to produce content for your field and headquarters clients and bring Supply Chain strategies to life. As a critical part of the communication team, you will work to meet content deadlines on a daily, weekly, and monthly level; at times including urgent, crisis response detail that safely shepherds our teams and facilities through events like global pandemics and team member safety concerns. You will be accountable to contributing to the delivery of effective communication related to operational outcomes and transformational milestones to drive broader understanding, transparency, and engagement across the Global Supply Chain. About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • 2-4 years of experience in communications or related field
  • Ability to research, write, edit, plan and publish communications with a focus for quality, accuracy, and engagement.
  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts in written and verbal form to various supply chain roles and facilities.
  • Highly organized with a willingness to work among ambiguous direction and fast paced environments while building fast credibility with partners.
  • Exceptional time management skills and an ability to multi-task and translate business messages to meet the needs of the broader audience
  • Ability to understand unique departments, job functions, and various building types for respective operational process area, to best support communication needs.

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
