Job Summary:
Reporting to our VP of Research & Technology, our Senior Chemist is responsible for planning and conducting lab testing in support of product development, quality investigations, and process improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to design and development studies required for product development
- Assist with process validation activities, including analysis of data and writing validation reports
- Assist with supplier change management process
- Conduct lab equipment troubleshooting efforts
Job Requirements:
- BS in Chemistry or equivalent work experience; MS in Chemistry preferred
- 10+ years’ laboratory experience
- Strong analytical skills in techniques such as FT-IR, DSC, barrier testing, microscopy, and mechanical properties; preferably demonstrated in packaging materials and polymer science
- Familiarity with basic statistical analysis
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
