Research and Development Chemist

Job Summary

• Responsible for the research and development of new functional coatings across multiple Elektrisola business units along with the performance testing, analytical analysis, technical reporting, and validation of new functional coatings.
• Responsible for the management of formulation laboratory and coating manufacturing, direct and indirect team members, and laboratory equipment maintenance
• Performs wet-chemistry, microscopic, performance, and laboratory analyses and reporting to generate accurate, repeatable and reliable results

• Ability to organize logical process maps to meet critical design deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervises 3 employees and in-directly supervises 5-10 employees across multiple Elektrisola business units.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material/Polymer Science, or related fields.
• 3 years of direct experience in formulation development.
