Job description:
We are looking for Business Analyst with at least 7+ years of IT experience and recent Workday HCM and/or Payroll experience. This resource must also have at least some previous state government/ agency domain experience.
TOP DESIRE SKILLS:

• 7+ years' experience as a BA or BSA
• Experience with Workday HCM and/or Payroll
• Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to synthesize multiple sources of data/information & compile into a cohesive presentation.

We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our project team. The Project Management Office is looking for individuals to join the PMO as a resource to be assigned as needed. Assignment can be with any department within the state of Maine; dependent on need. You will report directly to the project management office. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. As a key contributor to the State of Maine Workday implementation it is imperative that you establish high quality standards and lead by example.
Job Duties:

• Monitoring/Supporting/Researching Data Quality/Data Cleanup with Stakeholders.
• Data Validation
• Ticket Management (JIRA)
• Eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and communicating business requirements.
• General project documentation (i.e. meeting notes, drafting proposals)
• General support through testing phases: researching issues, providing guidance on defect resolution.
• Other Project Support tasks as identified

Desired Experience:

• 1 or more years of recent experience with Workday HCM and/or Payroll (Must have)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, concatenations, etc.
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to various audiences
