Job description:
We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst with at least 7+ years of IT experience. This resource needs to have Financial Services domain experience and data related project experience.
Top Desired Skills:
- 7+ Years of Business Analysis experience (leading meetings, requirement sessions, creating user stories, process flows, documentation, and owning deliverables).
- 5+ Years of experience building Test Plans and Test Cases that will be used by IT to do hands on testing.
- 5+ Years of Financial Services (Insurance, Wealth Management, Banking).
- 2+ Years of working directly with SOX requirements
Our customer is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to work in tandem with their Lead Business Analyst to generate and test requirements related to their Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and BSIG Processes. This person will be assisting the team to ensure they have internal controls in place to support continuous improvement of business processes, reduce risk of unexpected losses, and ensure compliance market regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally with IT, process owners, and business owners to understand processes and risks, test the design and operating effectiveness of controls, and assess the reliability of system-generated information.
- Plan, design, implement and maintain IT Governance, Risk & Compliance initiatives and their supporting elements.
- Lead business and IT teams in the analysis, design, development, and implementation (set-up, testing, support, training, and enhancements) of system controls.
- Alignment and coordination with Financial Controls, Internal Audit teams as appropriate.
- Responsible for analyzing business needs to identify use cases, and if necessary new processes, process improvements that will meet those needs
Desired Experience/ Qualifications:
