Provides technical, administrative and special projects support to the Associate Director of Television Engineering in departmental operations and responding to departmental emergencies. Provides the necessary technical knowledge and skills to meet the responsibilities of two or more of the following position specialties.
MDA-TV Systems
Design, Installation, Maintenance and Project Management of CATV headend, coaxial and fiber signal distribution and satellite reception systems.
Audiovisual Systems
Design, Installation, Maintenance and Project Management of Audiovisual Systems used in Multimedia and Videoconference equipped auditoriums, classrooms and conference rooms.
Streaming Media and Networks
Design, Installation, Maintenance and Project Management of Streaming Media Systems and Network Distribution.
Video Production Systems
Design, Installation, Maintenance and Project Management of Video Production Systems
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent. Ten years of experience. Only eight years of experience required with an Associate's degree and six years of experience required with a Bachelor's degree.
