The Senior Revenue Analyst role will be responsible for carrying out tactical pricing and inventory decisions throughout the selling cycle to maximize revenue. In addition to executing the Revenue Plan for a regional portfolio of products, this role will assist in the development of pricing strategies and will be accountable for tracking macroeconomic and industry trends, gathering competitive information, conducting analyses, and integrating large amounts of information to make actionable recommendations. This is a highly collaborative role - the Senior Revenue Analyst will work closely with others in the Revenue team, Sales, Marketing, Voyage Travel Services, and other operational departments to achieve revenue goals.
What You'll Be Up To:
• Monitor booking and revenue performance for a regional product portfolio
• Determine and implement daily pricing and inventory actions based on sound analysis and strategic direction
• Evaluate occupancy, channels, sourcing, and promotional performance to inform pricing and inventory decisions
• Execute on Revenue plan targets and objectives with direction from Revenue team leadership
• Leverage business intelligence tools and analyze revenue reports to inform decision making and communicate findings to key stakeholders
• Develop and present data-driven recommendations for incremental revenue opportunities to Revenue team leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance revenue growth opportunities
• Develop and provide support for Senior Leadership presentations
• Conduct ad hoc analyses
• Other duties as assigned
Super Powers Required:
• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university required with focus in quantitative discipline such as economics, engineering, or financial mathematics
• 2-5 years of experience in Travel Industry Revenue Management required, background in cruise industry preferred
• Demonstrated ability to make and implement decisions independently
• Tableau experience preferred
• Seaware experience preferred
• Experience in interactive reporting and forecasting preferred
• Ability to work fluidly with large datasets
• Proficiency in MS Excel (incl. Pivot tables, IF statements, VLOOKUPs)
• Ability to work well with others in an open, unstructured environment
