BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
The SAP Sr. Analyst (MDG) role will primarily be responsible for supporting the MDG functionality of S/4HANA and partnering with the business to understand their requirements, ensure process standardization by utilizing out-of-the box SAP software capabilities, integration, hands on systems configuration, testing and operational monitoring to continuously improve efficiency and quality of the process.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

• Support the Functional Consultant during business process discussions by means of interviews, workflow analyses and facilitated discussions with users.
• Translates users' business requirements into detailed functional designs for development, testing and implementation.
• Identifies and communicates risks and issues impacting business rules, functional requirements and specifications. Participates in and contributes to managing the scope of applications and related changes.

• Participate in UAT phase and go-live period of the MDG Implementation project to troubleshoot the issues in live system by engaging appropriate internal and external stakeholders, being responsive, leading the root cause analysis and thoughtful on upstream and downstream impacts of the change.
• Assists quality assurance with functional test case reviews. Creates training materials and may assist with user training.
• Drive continuous process improvements by monitoring and analyzing the KPIs, proposing process and system changes, providing the details on scope, estimate the cost of implementation, timelines, improve quality and the business outcomes
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Information Sciences/Technology, Supply Chain or related fields required.
• 5 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment of SAP MDG.
• At least 1 implementation / roll out experience in S4 HANA MDG implementation.
• Strong understanding of the MDG functional processes around Data model, UI, BRFs, Workflow enhancements objects for various Master Data elements like business partner (Customer/vendor), Material master, and Financial Master.
• Knowledgeable with SAP Customer and Material Master data domains.
• Expertise with SAP MDG configurations for Data modeling, UI modeling, process modeling, rules and derivations, BRF+, replication configurations.
• Experience with S4 HANA and a good understanding of SD, MM, PM, and BP processes.
• Understanding of the Data migration process of any master objects.
• Technical knowledge of MDG workflows and SAP tables.
• Knowledge of BRF+, Workflow, FPM, WebDynpro, Enhancements, IDOC’s and Proxies.
• Experience of various data modeling techniques be an added advantage.
• Good analytical and Communication skills.
• Ability to lead small teams and coordinate with different stakeholders to resolve issues or problems.
• Experience working in equipment distribution and/or manufacturing industry preferred.
