Location Requirements: This role is Hybrid to one of our offices: Austin, Wayne, or Naperville. Must work Eastern Time Zone hours.

Your role on the team:

As a Sr. Advisor, Process Automation & Analytics, and as part of the Frontline Client Success organization, you will be supporting a national Data & Analytics team of Advisors who are subject-matter experts (SMEs) in the successful use and management of Frontline solutions. You will be primarily focused on developing and maintaining various internal and customer-facing reports and outputs in support of our business analytics software suite. Other work will include workflow automation and optimization, data ingestion and cleansing, quality assurance, data roll-forward, customer usage reports. As part of Frontline’s Client Success organization, you will also partner closely with Frontline’s Services, Support, Product, and other internal teams to support the success of Frontline’s strategy and objectives.

You can expect to:

  • Identify areas of improvement to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements with both the customer experience and scalability in mind, and analyze existing reports and outputs.
  • Train internal teams on enhancements as appropriate and develop training materials appropriate for internal staff with varying levels of product knowledge and experience.
  • Identify opportunities for new reports/outputs and align internal teams around them to prioritize, design, develop, test, and deploy value-adding enhancements for customers.
  • Perform both subjective and objective analysis of existing processes to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • In coordination with stakeholders, design and develop new or enhanced tools and processes that support excellent experiences for customers and internal teams.
  • Author and maintain technical documentation for automation tools and product features.
  • Provide value-adding advisory service to customers to support their success with Frontline solutions. The advisory service model includes both in person and remote engagements, with some being 1 to 1 with customers and the majority being 1 to many (webinar, workshops, etc.)
  • Support the onboarding of new customers including data acquisition and implementation, building out reports and dashboards, and training users.
  • Contribute to attaining retention objectives through delivering advisory services that support excellent customer experiences and advocacy.
  • In coordination with leadership, develop annual and quarterly plans and roadmaps that align with key strategies and objectives.
  • Routinely measure progress, results, and impact to the business and report to stakeholders and leadership as appropriate.

What you bring to the role:

  • Ability to assess the structure and processes behind complex software reports and other outputs with the goal of designing or re-designing to enhance the efficiency, customer experience, or both.
  • Engage people effectively at all levels within an organization to understand processes and gather requirements for improvements.
  • Effectively design scalable and reusable software solutions for automation needs.
  • In the context of the team’s and organization’s goals and strategy, effectively prioritize work and projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to acquire new skills and techniques and apply them within assigned tasks.
  • Use critical thinking to resolve issues and make effective decisions.
  • Perform analysis and troubleshooting of complex software constructs.
  • Prioritize and multi-task effectively in sometimes ambiguous, autonomous situations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a results- and performance-based environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time with periodic extended time away for company meetings.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English.

This role requires:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Computer Science or other related field or equivalent work experience (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in technology implementation, Process Automation and improvement, or related area (SaaS technology preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including formulas and macros.
  • Experience with secure code review in languages such as Python, and developing with common scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, VBA, etc.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and manipulation libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, etc.
  • Experience with technical writing, including software and business process documentation
  • Experience with the following is preferred:
    • REST APIs (Postman, Requests)
    • AWS Services (S3, Boto3)
    • Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
    • Workflow Management Platforms (Apache Airflow)
    • Quality Assurance (Selenium)
    • Confluence, JIRA, GitHub, Office365, Slack, Zoom
  • Experience or knowledge of school finance, governmental fund accounting, assessment data, and SIS systems preferred
