Need 5 Sr. Accountant contractors for a 7+ month contract
JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare assigned consolidation process, including all relevant financial statements. (10%)
- Complete journal entries. Verify and prepare supporting documentation associated with journal entry preparation. Maintain general ledger detail and complete monthly reconcilements of numerous accounts and activities. (40%)
- Assist with yearend audit preparation. (10%)
- Prepare periodic sales and use tax returns for assigned entities, including the reconciliation of appropriate transactions. (20%)
- Use personal computer-based systems and software to compile and prepare reports, reconciliations and journal entry support. (15%)
- Perform special projects as necessary. (5%)

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Four or more years of experience in accounting, with emphasis in general ledger entry and reconciliation.
- Accounting/finance skills to apply generally accepted accounting principles in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Personal computer skills; proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; some experience with Oracle a plus, demonstrated ability to understand and utilize computer systems.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

Salary: $47.00 - $50.00 per hour
