An Application Developer will be responsible for developing product extensions, add-on features, reporting, web portal integration to new and existing web applications and integration with client/vendor applications. This position will participate in design, coding and testing of technical solutions.
Job Duties:
- Work collaboratively with a team of developers and business analysts
- Design, develop and test enhancements according to customer specifications
- Support and maintain existing codebase through refactoring and fixing bugs
- Design for backwards compatibility, future expansion and customer satisfaction
- Plan and manage a software development project.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of the position.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS:
- Demonstrate an understanding of technologies and standard systems development lifecycle processes and apply our processes effectively on client engagements
- Demonstrated proficient skills in
- Programming Logic and Application Principles
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
- Advanced knowledge
- Procedural T-SQL Development applying concepts such as function calls, sequencing, pivot tables, grouping and optimization
- C# and/or Python
Technical experience
- Python, MS-DOS, or Power Shell.
- SQL programming T-SQL
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Must be driving to meet project deadlines and able to test, troubleshoot and resolve system problems under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability handle constant communication with colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
- Must be organized and detailed oriented including a well-organized system for handling workload.
- Demonstrated ability in prioritizing and handle multiple projects.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- B.S. degree in Computer Engineering is a plus.
- Requirements Gathering is a plus.
- Project Management training or experience is a plus
- Automated Testing experience is a plus.
- Healthcare industry knowledge experience is a plus.
- Consulting or client facing experience is a plus.
