SalaryOVERVIEW:
This position in a high performance team requires strong development, architecture experience in designing, developing and monitoring customer-facing middleware services for VS&CO. The majority of the work will involve designing and developing data integration services using Talend platform. There will also be some work involving monitoring and supporting changes that exist in middleware services infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead work focused on the design, development, and production support of integration solution utilizing middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Talend, Cleo, on various enterprise-wide projects.
- Leads project segments, including cutover planning, TUT, Integration or other test phases with a technical focus. May serve as overall lead for projects or programs representing integration work.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in multiple applications or technical discipline, knowledgeable in the technology supporting multiple business functions or supporting technologies.
- Consult on a variety of existing and emerging Integration technologies and associated services and processes
- Mentor and train team members in operational support activities, including on-call support.
- Drive identification and resolution of issues leveraging technical expertise and product knowledge. Research or triage new, uncommon, or complex, problems spanning multiple systems or applications.
- Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices to recommend process or technology changes for the applications in the group's portfolio.
- Research potential changes, analyze options and implement selected items. Audit results for efficiency, improved quality, or speed. Facilitate explorations with the business teams.

Maximum Salary: $112,665.00
VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Talend Data Fabric tools such as Talend Data Integration, Talend ESB, and TMC/TAC and other integration technologies.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using Talend.
- In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and implementation.
- Strong expertise in data mapping, transformation, and integration architecture.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of integration solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with cloud-based integration platforms.
- Experience with message queuing systems and event-driven architectures
- Good understanding of Integration Patterns and REST based web services.
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated use of Integration patterns integrating Snowflake,SAP, Salesforce, Kronos, various databases, etc..using Talend.
- Strong communication skills as this role will need to collaborate with both teams across the organization boundaries and report out progress in terms of key initiatives.
- Strong experience in documenting the API Developed - in terms of design patterns used, used case and performance of the services.
- Middleware Administration Experience - Product Installation, Services Deployment and Health Monitoring, Automation of Administration Tasks in Linux Environment is preferred.
- Certification in Talend or relevant ESB technologies.
- 2 years Core Java skills
- 2 years Maven, GIT/Stash, Munit, Kafka
- 1 year Active MQ, RabbitMQ
- Jenkins - Nice to have
- Academic Qualification: 4 year degree in Information Systems plus at least 6 years work experience or Masters Degree with 4 years work experience.
