How you'll make an impact
Stitcher Studios is seeking an intern interested in learning about how you organize, record, produce and publish podcasts. You'll be part of the team of producers and engineers who take responsibility for weekly podcast production.
What you'll do

• Assist producers and engineers with productions.
• Provide support in show marketing through social media, promos, and other integrations.
• Participate in team meetings and creative collaboration.
• As needed, help production teams by researching sources, sending booking requests, preparing background research, etc.
• Assist with other coordination and administrative duties.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you'll need

• Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2025 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship as well as broadcasting schools with one-year programs that provide certificates of completion.
• Current or previous enrollment in communications classes preferred.
• Prior internship or working experience in radio/podcast/TV/Film production industry preferred.
• Experience with digital media systems, a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) and Zoom conferencing software.
• Experience with ProTools or other audio editing software preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with Stitcher and a passion for podcasts - bonus points if you're already making your own!
• Commitment to excellent storytelling and thoughtfulness about what makes a good audio story.
• Flexibility and a can-do attitude.
• Resilience and a willingness to do the less glamorous tasks as well as the fun ones.
• Excellent communication and time management skills. Especially in a remote environment, it's crucial that you're able to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with your supervisor.
• Well-organized, energetic, independent and responsive to feedback and direction.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be $16.78/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
