The Head of Sponsorships will be on the front-line selling, defining, and tapping demand. In this role, he/she will be responsible for selling event sponsorships and other offerings to B2B brand advertisers (and sometimes their agencies). Additional responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage a sales pipeline and help develop a strategy for sustained success
- Identify and develop sponsorship relationships across inventory
- Liaise with and support sponsors with resources, information, and feedback
- Establish and implement sales management processes to ensure smooth execution of sponsorship onboarding and throughout the lifetime of the sponsor’s engagement
- Look for ways to improve sponsor goals (be a business partner to the brands)
- Work with leading agencies and brands to cement us as a premium, must-have solution
- Work strategically with CEO on enhancements to products that will increase revenue and effectiveness
- Help new partners execute great campaigns with measurable business results
- Work as a key evangelist in the marketplace to drive the future growth
- Prospect and penetrate medium to large size organizations to obtain branded marketing dollars for their sponsorship planning
- Ability to manage and train salespeople
Qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of Sponsorship Sales experience – NOTE: please do not apply if you do not have B2B Sponsorship Sales experience
- Demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and action
- 2-4+ years working in a B2B environment
- Relationships with B2B advertisers and agencies
- Proven ability to exceed revenue targets / sales quota
- Strong analytic skills
- Startup DNA/experience
- The type of executive who leads by example – he/she must be able to open doors and close key deals and partnerships
- Part of management team must be able to contribute strategically to the overall growth of the business
- B.A. / B.S. / equivalent

Compensation:
Base + Commission
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
