Spinner/Crane Operator

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Spinner/Crane Operator for a client in Anniston, Alabama.
Overview

• Able to correctly identify the size and style of mold to be spun.
• Ability to identify any problems with pole products.
• Able to properly use a crane to safely move pole products.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the spinner machine.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and drawings required to carry out the job.
• Must be able to document the results of his/her job.
• Must be able to keep a sufficient lead in a manner that maintains shipping flow.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1-year fabrication shop or manufacturing environment experience a plus.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Excellent safety record and habits.
• Ability to work alone or in a team.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Excellent work ethics and habits.
• The operator shall consider him/herself as part of a team working towards the same goal and consider your fellow workers as his/her customers.
• Must be able to work efficiently and effectively without supervision. Report difficulties as they develop.
• Provide suggestions or solutions.
• Must be willing to do other tasks as assigned by their supervisor.

Physical Demands

• Repetitive movement with hands & fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls include simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing & pulling, and reaching with hands & arms.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 6-8+ hours a day, occasional sitting.
• Requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
• Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a non-temp controlled work environment with personal protective equipment.
