About the role:
  • We are seeking our first Enablement Lead to join our rapidly growing SpendHound team, playing a key role in expanding this new initiative by onboarding, developing, training, and coaching a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and Sales Associates/Executives (SA/SE).
  • Location: New York City (3 days a week in office, 2 days a week remote)

As a SpendHound Enablement Lead, you will:
  • Build out a comprehensive, highly prescriptive training program to onboard a global/offshore team of SDRs
  • Closely manage and coach a team of three global SDRs, with the potential to scale the team over time
  • Create bespoke training, best practice documentation, and playbooks for the SDR and SE roles (cold calling, pitching, discovery, objection handling, etc)
  • Own content rollout or experimental initiatives to SDR and SE teams
  • Own delivery, reinforcement, maintenance/iteration, and upkeep of training content and curriculums
  • Build certifications, new hire report cards, rubrics, role plays, and other key pieces of content to coach the team to excellence
  • Host call reviews to monitor and track in-field performance to ensure the training and playbook content is optimal and that the team is executing against it well

You are likely to succeed if:
  • You are a self-starter who can thrive in the ambiguity of a fast-paced, high-growth environment (you will be building the comprehensive sales enablement strategy, not executing an existing one)
  • You are comfortable "building the plane while we are flying it" - we'd like you to start before our SDRs do, but there will always be a balancing act between optimizing current state (getting SDRs ready in the absence of a comprehensive onboarding plan) and working towards an ideal future state (building out a comprehensive onboarding and continued upskilling strategy)
  • You are comfortable using shadowing, team workflow analysis, and other self-led evaluation mechanisms to define and drive the team to best practice
  • You have experience creating highly prescriptive SDR sales processes, role expectations, and certification programs from scratch
  • Your program has rigid and clear metrics of success that quickly highlight top performers and low performers
  • You have experience building out end-to-end onboarding programs for SE's and SDR's that yielded optimized ramp times
  • You have experience working with and enabling offshore SDR teams
  • You have experience building outreach flows with cadencing tools such as Groove, Outreach, and Salesforce Sales Engagement
  • You have experience enabling large sales teams for SMB, short sales cycles
  • You have experience working cross-functionally with marketing and sales leaders to drive top-of-funnel growth and strategy alignment
  • You love coaching and role plays and can use these to create impact with new hires and tenured employees alike

What we offer:
  • Competitive Compensation Package ($110,000-130,0000 OTE)
    • Note: The final offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. The compensation package may include equity.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years in a sales enablement role, working with SDRs and SEs
  • Previous experience in an SDR or Sales capacity
  • Previous experience managing SDRs teams (managing global SDRs is a plus!)
  • Experience enabling global teams; working with offshore/BPO organizations is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in building out comprehensive, highly prescriptive SDR and SE enablement programs from scratch
  • Comfortable owning the entire SpendHound enablement function as a team of one (with the potential to grow) - with a dotted line into Head of Spendhound Sales and Director of Enablement
