Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist (P/T)

We are looking for a part time Speech Language Pathologist to enhance our current early intervention multidisciplinary team in Orange County. The position provides direct and non-direct consultation services to families affected by autism, toddlers, child interventionist, and BCBAs.
What would you be doing?
- Complete diagnostic speech and language evaluations in children ages birth-18 years of age
- Complete chart reviews, collect case histories, and conduct parent/patient interviews
- Gather and analyze treatment data on how a child is responding to functional communication programs.
- Based on observations and treatment data, generate treatment summaries and recommendations
- Participate in the development of individualized family treatment plans (IFSP) with objective and measurable treatment goals/objectives
- Implement individualized speech-language or communication program for the child's natural setting
- Design data collections for each functional communication goal/objective that can be maintained by in-home interventionist and families
- Complete reports and session notes to maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory policies
- Complete family friendly progress reports related to the child's goals outlined in the treatment plan
- Provide training (to families, staff, and individual/agencies contracting for training) on the development of speech-language and communication
- Work collaboratively alongside multiple other professional disciplines (Psychologists. Occupational Therapist, BCBA's, Social Workers, Nursing...)
- Act professionally during all interactions with clients, parents, and staff across settings
- Uphold and maintain ASAH's Code of Ethics
- Maintain communication with supervisor regarding team meetings, clinical caseload, scheduling, problematic clients, and all other administrative and business-related needs.
- Collaborate and provide supervision to interventionist working with the child and family
- Participate in monthly progress meetings with the service coordinator and family as needed.
- Uphold and maintain ASAH's Code of Ethics
The Opportunity:
Part Time Consulting Opportunity - No weekend or nights
- The SLP should have the ability to consult with our team via phone, visit families receiving home care, and review monthly case files with the treatment team.
- The SLP will consult on an average of 3 to 8 clients per month.
Compensation:
- $55.00 - $60.00 per hour based on experience, education, and certifications
What do you bring to the role?
- Must hold a current California State License as a Speech and Language Pathologist.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the evaluation and treatment of children. Early intervention
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
